Vitamin D/Sunshine Safe sunshine exposure helps to increase Vitamin D status, which is essential for collagen production, and helps to support skin integrity and elasticity. As Vitamin D has anti-inflammatory properties, this can help to calm and soothe irritated or inflamed skin. Ensure you practice safe sunlight exposure practices. 10-30 minutes of sunlight is sufficient (depending on UV rating and location).
